Singapore Credit Cards Points to Miles Conversion Chart (Plus Their Frequent Flyer Partners)

With different ways credit cards in Singapore value their points, I thought it would be helpful to spell out the equivalent miles that each credit card reward point converts to (at least for the major banks) in one table for easy reference. For those who are new to the miles game, 1 point in Citi is definitely not equivalent to 1 point in DBS when it comes to miles. Hopefully, this table will enable you to quickly calculate the number of miles you have available (or need!) in your various credit card accounts.

I found myself having to frustratingly refer to the websites of various banks to extract their conversion ratio over and over again. To end all that, this table came to being. Do let me know if you think there are more banks I should add!

After putting everything in a table, the following stood out:

• ANZ charges the least when it comes to redemptions
• HSBC charges an annual fee for being in the redemption programme, a departure from the common practice of charging per redemption
• Most credit cards allow redeeming only with Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. While you may use this as a springboard to redeem with partner airlines, for the best selection you can go with Citi and their 11 airline partners (the Citi Rewards Card gives you 4 miles per dollar for shopping spends while the Citi Prestige can give you more for general spends depending on how long you’ve banked with them)
• Do note the below table covers the respective banks’ general rewards programme. Some of these banks have specific travel cards that don’t fall within these programmes (i.e. ANZ’s Travel Visa Card awards you directly in miles and so does the Citi Premiermiles) and I’ve not included those here.
