Updated Afternoon Tea Promotions in Singapore (February 2025 Edition)

Few other things are as evocative of the leisurely life as spending the afternoon socializing with friends and family over scones, cakes and finger sandwiches laid out nicely on a three-tier stand. Afternoon teas have only increased in popularity following the new normal as more folks take it slow and focus more on personal wellness. 

In this article, I try to show all the updated afternoon tea offerings at the moment. Afternoon tea sets tend to get refreshed every few months so without further ado, these are the promotions you can check out this month. For the month of February, many hotels have gone back to their evergreen offering or are at the tail-end of their CNY offerings.

As WFH becomes less common, afternoon teas are reverting to their original place as mainly weekend affairs so it is advisable to book ahead if you wish to come on a Saturday or Sunday. Weekday seatings are usually not booked out, but it is advisable to check ahead as there are hotels that have made their afternoon tea sets available only on weekends.

Afternoon Tea Promotions in Singapore (February 2025)

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore

*Top Pick for a Filling Afternoon Tea Buffet* The high tea at J65 in Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore can probably substitute as a late lunch (it starts from 12:30PM every Saturday and Sunday) given that it is served in a buffet format and includes heavier mains such as Chicken Rendang, Oxtail Stew, Herb Roasted Chicken with Buttered Vegetables and more. These dishes are interspersed with more common afternoon tea delights like Nyonya Kueh Pie Tee, Quiche, a variety of sandiwches and cakes. The only downside to this format is that you don’t get to feel like a tai tai sitting with a 3-tier stand. Note that some of the dishes may be altered during festive periods.

Ibis Singapore Bencoolen

*Value Deal* Taste Restaurant at Ibis Singapore Bencoolen presents what is probably the cheapest afternoon tea that you can get in a hotel. Their 3-tier high tea set consists of sweets and savories such as Chef’s Signature Laksa, Mini Madeleine Donut, Mini Yum Puffs, Chicken Satay and free-flow coffee or tea. In total, there are 10 items in their afternoon tea!

Mercure Singapore Bugis

Royale at Mercure Singapore Bugis’ high tea set consists of Japanese-themed light bites and this theme will continue til end-2025. The selection includes Aburi Mentaiko Gyoza and Shiitake Mushroom Quiche. The sweets are no less decadent. You can expect the likes of the Matcha Cheese Cake in shot glass, as well as freshly baked Earl Grey Scones, served alongside homemade berries confiture and clotted cream.

Capitol Kempinski Hotel

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore presents a Singapore Heritage afternoon tea. Treats include Foie Gras Kaya Toast, Kueh Pie Tee, Bubur Cha Cha Panna Cotta, Hainanese Kurobuta in Brioche Sando and more. In total there are 16 items and the afternoon tea is segregated into 3 different “chapters”.

Conrad Singapore Orchard

The Tea Lounge’s afternoon tea is served in 2 formats. During weekdays, it is served in a 3-tier stand. During weekends, diners are treated to a buffet style assortment. The 3-tier stand features quintessential Asian and Western treats such as various kinds of finger sandwiches, quiches, tiramisu, meringue tarts and more. You’ll also get to sample the hotel’s highly popular Hibiscus and Cranberry Scone as well as their Classic Scone. During weekends, the spread includes Beef Tenderloin, Beef Wellington, Ocean King Prawn Congee with Meatball, Chicken Siew Mai, Pineapple Tamarind Meringue Tart and more.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay

Portman’s Bar at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay is offering their festive-themed CNY afternoon tea set which will last well until 12th February. Indulge in savory bites including Char-Grilled Whole Abalone, Crab Salad + Pomelo + Mango Tart and more. 

Sweets include Auspicious Fortune Bag, Mandarin Orange dessert and more.

From 13th Feb until 30th June, Portman’s Bar will switch up to a Botanical Afternoon Tea featuring sweet and savory creations infused with fresh herbs, edible flowers, and vegetables from the hotel’s own urban farm.

Tea Bar’s afternoon tea is a delightful nostalgic tiffin set. One can indulge in local inspired sweet delights including Almond Lychee Kadaifi, Lemon Longan Scone with Chicken Floss, Pulut Hitam Savarin and more. Savories include the Miniature Nasi Lemak Euphoria, Golden Sand Charcoal Batter Fish Bites. For a timely caffeine fix that’ll round off the afternoon on an energetic mood, choose between the barista coffee or tea or indulge in a Strawberry Cheesecake Mocktail.

The Fullerton Hotel

The Traditional Afternoon Tea experience at The Fullerton Hotel is served in the lobby and stays true to the British ritual with a classic assortment of finely cut sandwiches and delicate pastries. From 13th January to 12th February, The Fullerton Hotel will be offering its “Lunar Traditions” afternoon tea. On selected days, you can also catch a live harp performance with the high-ceiling atrium filled with melodious tunes.

Fullerton Bay Hotel

Sit back and enjoy a round of afternoon tea with sublime views of Marina Bay. The Landing Point is offering “Lunar Expressions Afternoon Tea” from 13th January to 12th February 2025.

Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre

Window on the Park at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre has one of the more underrated afternoon teas in Singapore. I have personally tried it and despite the relatively affordable price tag, I found nibbling through the three-tier stand to be a rather enjoyable affair. Until 15th February 2025, they are offering the Fortune afternoon tea set which features a series of refreshing treats. Highlights include Golden Bak Kwa with Chicken Floss and Cheese in Po Lo Bao, Braised Abalone with Sea Cucumber and Mushroom in Egg Tart Shell, Pineapple Caramel Dome and more. This is a halal-certified afternoon tea.

Conrad Centennial Singapore

Add a little sweetness to your dining experience with Conrad Centennial Singapore’s Lobby Lounge’s Blushing Strawberry Afternoon Tea which will be offered until 30th April. All sweet items and even some savory items are inspired by the beloved strawberry. Highlights include Air-flown Japanese Strawberries, Classic Strawberry Shortcake, Earl Grey Strawberry Mousse and more. The set also includes strawberry and raisin scones. The tea selection comprises a wide variety from TWG while coffee comes from Bacha.

InterContinental Singapore

The Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Singapore has 4 types of afternoon tea sets available. The first is their seasonal classic afternoon tea offering. Until 31st March, they are offering the Ethereal Forest Afternoon Tea featuring the likes of the Golden Egg in the Nest, the Parma & Winter Truffle Puff, the Wagyu Beef & Black Trumpet, and the Barbecued River Eel Quiche and more. The second type is their Vegan Afternoon Tea.

The higher tier Heritage Royal Luxury Afternoon Tea on the other hand, comes with a glass of champagne as a standard inclusion. Light bites include Kaya Jam with Foie Gras, Home Cured Beetroot Norwegian Salmon and Chilli Lobster Roll tucked with salmon ikura on top. The sweet selection includes Chocolate Tartlet, 24K Gold Banana Genoa Cake and more. This afternoon tea also comes with 2 flutes of champagne.

Ginger.Lily at Hilton Singapore Orchard presents the teatime soiree, with a blend of French pastries with elements of Japanese sensibilities. Highlights include the Silky Ibaraki Roll, a bergamot tea infused sponge, pear and yuzu confit; Violet Chocolate Gateau, Toasted Vanilla Pecan Tartlet and more. One Ninety Bar at Four Seasons Singapore is offering its weekend afternoon tea with a variety of savories and sweets. Highlights include Boston Lobster Roll, Black Truffle Bite, Russian Caviar Tartlet and more. The set also includes Lychee Panna Cotta, Passion Fruit Tart and other sweets.

Andaz Singapore

Alley on 25 at Andaz Singapore presents a Blossom and Bloom Teascape for the month of February. Indulge in an array of sweet and savory goodies, with some of the herbs and spices used here coming directly from the hotel’s own roof garden. Highlights in this tea set include the Lychee Roselle Tartlet, Bubur Chacha, Crispy Rendang Spring Rolls and more. The afternoon tea also comes with free flow tea and coffee and they provide non-dairy options for lattes. Coffee is from Lavazza while tea is from TWG.
