Few other things are as evocative of the leisurely life as spending the afternoon socializing with friends and family over scones, cakes and finger sandwiches laid out nicely on a three-tier stand. Afternoon teas have only increased in popularity following the new normal as more folks take it slow and focus more on personal wellness.

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
*Top Pick for a Filling Afternoon Tea Buffet* The high tea at J65 in Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore can probably substitute as a late lunch (it starts from 12:30PM every Saturday and Sunday) given that it is served in a buffet format and includes heavier mains such as Chicken Rendang, Oxtail Stew, Herb Roasted Chicken with Buttered Vegetables and more. These dishes are interspersed with more common afternoon tea delights like Nyonya Kueh Pie Tee, Quiche, a variety of sandiwches and cakes. The only downside to this format is that you don’t get to feel like a tai tai sitting with a 3-tier stand. Note that some of the dishes may be altered in view of the festive season.
